TENDER AUCTIONS (AKEBONO)

Japan tender auctions list:

ZERO CAR SELECTION (ZERO)

NISSAN PLAZASOL (NPS)

LOGICO UNIVERSAL MARKET (LUM)

ORIX

The main distinguishing feature of tender auctions, in contrast to online auctions in real time, is that bids are collected during the day until a certain time and are summed up by the end of the day. The car is given to the one who offered the maximum bid. If the maximum bids are the same, then priority is given to the one whose bid was placed first the system.

The following points follow from the above peculiarities of tender auctions:

1) At tender auctions it is not possible to purchase a lot lower than your bid, that is, if you have placed a bid, then either you will take the lot at your bid, or you will not pick it up;

2) Lots at tender auctions, it is not possible to put in groups;

3) Bids for tender auctions are accepted only until the time specified by the auction, and the results come much later, usually by the end of the day;

Mainly at these auctions, commercial vehicles, cars of rental and leasing companies are exhibited. Basically, these are not expensive cars costing up to 1 million yen. Among the vehicles at these sites, there are many decent options. Due to the fact that these auto auctions are not as popular as regular auctions, the final prices at tender auctions are usually lower than at regular auctions. Unlike conventional auctions, the number of photographs of cars is much higher at tender auctions.
